Food and Beverage Manager

Atlantica Hotels & Resorts, one of the leading hotel companies in Cyprus and Greece, is expanding its operations.

We are seeking to recruit a Food & Beverage Manager to join our highly successful Management Team at Atlantica Aphrodite Hills Hotel in Paphos, Cyprus.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the management and achievement of profit for all food and beverage operations in the hotel including restaurants, bars, catering and banquet operations. Will provide a professional, advisory and executive support to the Hotel Manager and assist in meeting strategic goals.

Qualifications required:

• Diploma or Degree in the Hospitality / Management industry will be considered an advantage.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in similar position within the industry.
• Articulate verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer Literate (MS Office).
• Good knowledge of Greek and English language.
• Excellent communicational & organizational skills
• Self-motivated, punctual, energetic and able to work under pressure and within time limits.
• Due to work permit restrictions, candidates must have the relevant papers to work to Cyprus

Duties:

• In charge of the financial results of the department in terms of revenue and expenses in accordance to the yearly budget provided by the Company
• Supervise the daily operations of all Food and Beverage outlets
• Control operational and payroll costs without affecting the overall quality of service offered
• Establish and maintain effective employee and customer communication and relations at all times
• Coordinate and supervise all Standard Operating Procedures to be followed, reassure highest level of quality and customer service
• Undertake and successfully see through banquets, functions and special events, from the planning stage to completion
• Oversee the correct usage of the Food and Beverage equipment and take corrective action where excessive breakage is identified
• Develop procedures that track, report on, and control the running costs of the Food & Beverage department
