Reservations Assistant

The position

MTS GLOBE CYPRUS LTD is seeking to recruit dynamic and motivated individuals in their reservations department on either a full or part time basis.

The role - Principal Responsibilities

• Update the inhouse system with reservations for hotel bookings, transfers and excursions

• Manage incoming calls and ensure that all queries are handled promptly and efficiently

• Organise transfer vehicles for our clients with our local providers

• Liase with hoteliers when needed to negotiate overbookings and relocations

• Co-ordinate changes, availability, and related matters with partners

• Handle any client complaints in a timely and effective manner ensuring an amicable solution

• Offer support to the Airport teams and resort representatives

• Perform other related duties as required

 

Essential Skills, Competencies & Qualities

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to specific guidelines

• Good organization, time management and problem-solving skills

• Professional telephone manner

• Trustworthy, honest, and committed and able to work under pressure

• Ability to work effectively alone and as part of a team

• Available to work weekends and bank holidays on a rotational basis

Experience in a similar role within the travel & tourism industry shall be considered as an advantage.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High school diploma is required, any further education particularly in tourism would be considered an advantage

• Proficient computer user with good literacy skills and experience of using Microsoft office, reservation systems etc.

• Excellent command of the English language (both verbal and written) Other languages are considered an advantage
