We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our team. The HR Generalist will play a key role in supporting various HR functions, including HR administration, payroll management This position requires a comprehensive understanding of HR practices and a commitment to fostering a positive workplace culture.
Responsibilities
HR Administration:
- Manage the entire employee lifecycle, including hiring, onboarding, transfers, promotions, and terminations
- Prepare and process employment contracts, termination agreements etc.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies
- Coordinate employee status changes and update HR systems accordingly
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures
Payroll Management:
- Oversee payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate salary distributions
- Manage payroll inputs, such as hours worked, overtime, deductions, and benefits
- Collaborate with the finance department to reconcile payroll accounts
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and reporting requirements
- Address employee inquiries regarding payroll discrepancies and resolve issues promptly
Employee Interaction and Support:
- Respond to general employee inquiries regarding HR administration and payroll issues
- Provide guidance and clarification on HR policies and procedures to employees
Expert Evaluation and Process Improvement:
- Conduct expert evaluations of HR administration processes and recommend improvements to management
- Participate in the audit of HR processes to ensure compliance and efficiency
- Suggest enhancements to existing HR practices to optimize workflow and employee satisfaction
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in an HR Generalist role
- Strong knowledge of HR policies and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Experience with HR and payroll software systems is preferred
