Senior Accountant

We are now looking for a Senior Accountant to join our Finance Team.

Flashpoint is an international tech investment manager with c. $425 million AUM focused on US and Western European tech companies originating out of Europe and the Middle East. Flashpoint manages five venture funds across 3 products: Venture Capital, Growth Debt, and Direct Secondary.

Requirements:

• Completed Higher Education in Finance, Economics or Accounting
• Strong knowledge of IFRS
• Strong Experience of working with accounting software is a must (Quickbooks, Peachtree, AccountsIQ, etc);
• Fluent in oral and written English
• 5 -12 years of full-time work experience
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance/supervision
• Ability to work under tight deadlines
• Team player
• a plus: Prior experience of working in the investment Fund;

Job responsibilities:

Accounting/Reporting/Audit

• Monthly cash reconciliations for all Group Companies/Funds
• Key contact for all Group invoices/Preparation of invoices for all companies 
• Main responsibility – accounting and reporting for all the companies in the Group parameter in the accounting software of the Group (operational entities, Funds, GPs, SPVs, etc)
• Preparation and submission of VAT report for the Cyprus entity
• Assistance with quarterly books closure/FS for all Funds/SPVs
• Various accounting/tax/reporting tasks for all entities in the Group Structure on a needed basis
• Review and communication of external administrators and out-sourced accountants

Various projects of Finance/Legal/Compliance Investment Departments

+ Any other requests on a needed basis

+ Research on a needed basis
