Tax Consultant

Seeking a Tax Consultant to assist with individual and corporate tax compliance, review agreements, and provide tax advisory support in a dynamic business services provider.

Our Client, a business services provider with award-winning expertise in corporate structuring, corporate governance, compliance services, international business advisory, accounting services, tax planning and administration services, is currently seeking to recruit a Tax Consultant for their Nicosia office.

• Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist with individual and corporate tax compliance work, including tax calculations, tax returns, and other tax forms.
  • Review agreements and proposed transactions to assess potential tax impact, considering tax legislation, double tax treaties, and common practice.
  • Provide support on specific projects/assignments requiring tax expertise.
  • Liaise with local tax authorities on client issues.
  • Assist with preparation of ad-hoc tax advisory work.
  • Report results and findings to senior staff and provide general support as necessary.
  • Discuss client queries and requests, and assist in drafting relevant responses.
• Candidate Profile:
  • University degree in a business-related field, preferably in Accounting, Economics, and Finance.
  • Relevant tax experience is highly advantageous.
  • Energetic with a positive attitude.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Team player.
  • Fluent in Greek and English.
