GRS Recruitment are working a satellite television network broadcasting across 25 countries in the Middle East and North Africa, along with about 50 countries in Europe and are looking to hire an Assistant Multimedia Editor. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Re-editing the files and videos that have technical or content issues based on the requests from other departments. e.g. cut the segments out that are problematic or not aligned with our content policy, sync audio with video and adjust audio levels to ensure clarity and balance for the audio and soundtracks and sound effects.
- Offline editing: File Management, organize and maintain digital assets and project files, ensuring they are easily accessible and properly archived. analyze the scripts or production plan with TV director, discuss the vision for final outcome.
- Work closely with the digital media and creative team (production crew and digital media staff) lead to ensure all projects run smoothly and are delivered to a high standard and withing given deadline.
- Editing social media reels and clips, adding motion graphics, graphic overlays, soundtracks, sound effects etc.
- Video editing (online editing): Work closely with producers, directors, and other editors to select, assemble, and trim raw footage, add rushes as well as incorporate visual effects, graphics, and titling to enhance storytelling and viewer engagement, colour grading, adding overlays etc. into a logical sequencing by refining final cuts for a finished product for broadcasting and to ensure that the final product meets broadcast standards, such as timing, continuity, and technical specs understand the vision and requirements for each project. CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Bachelor's degree in film, media communications, or a related field, or equivalent work experience or demonstrated background in in the field of media.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Farsi/Persian and English for effective collaboration with team members.
- Proficiency in video editing software and understanding of video formats, codecs, and broadcast standards. e.g. Adobe Premier pro, Final Cut Pro
- Experienced in post-production. Obtaining the ability to edit videos and create captivating and visually appealing as well as impactful assets.
- Attention to detail and keen eye for detail and quality, with the ability to spot errors and inconsistencies.
- Creative Skills and strong sense of storytelling, pacing, and visual composition.
- Independent, creative, proactive thinker.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and having problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues and adapt to changing project requirements.
- Attention to detail and keen eye for detail and quality, with the ability to spot errors and inconsistencies.
- High levels of time management and organisation with brilliant multi-tasking skills to manage multiple projects at once.
