A well-established and well-capitalised Fintech firm dedicated to providing a comprehensive solution for investors' financial needs is collaborating with GRS to hire a QA Engineer to join their Limassol team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of manual testing experience. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a team of industry professionals. If you possess the required skills and background, an attractive remuneration package awaits you in this QA Engineer role based in Limassol.MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Engage with diverse teams, including developers, business analysts, scrum masters, designers, and stakeholders, as a Manual and/or Automation Tester across projects such as full-stack software development, data & AI, and systems implementation. Test Planning: Contribute to the development of test plans aligned with project requirements and specifications. Test Case Design: Create detailed test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements. Test Execution: Implement test cases to identify defects and ensure functionality aligns with specified requirements. Document defects thoroughly with clear reproduction steps. Defect Tracking: Utilize defect tracking tools to log, monitor, and manage reported issues. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test cases, test plans, and relevant testing artifacts. Adherence to Testing Standards: Follow established testing processes, methodologies, and standards. Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry best practices, testing tools, and methodologies. Test Environment Setup: Assist in configuring test environments to simulate real-world scenarios. Communication: Provide transparent updates on testing progress, results, and issues to project stakeholders. Offer regular status updates and contribute to testing strategy discussions. Test Script Development (based on candidate's experience): Develop and implement automated test scripts using appropriate testing frameworks and programming languages (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber). Integrate automated tests into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline for ongoing and automated testing. CANDIDATE PROFILE 2-3 years of manual testing experience. Understanding of the software development life cycle. Ability to independently troubleshoot and devise solutions to technical challenges. Proficiency in English.
