Superhome Center (DIY) Ltd, the leading retailer in Cyprus for DIY and Home Improvement, with 6 stores all over Cyprus, seeks to recruit a highly motivated individual for the position of Logistics Manager for the Company's Head Office in Nicosia.

Role Overview:

The Logistics Manager will report to the CEO and will be responsible for overseeing the entire logistics and supply chain operations. The focus will be to ensure the efficient and timely flow of products from suppliers to stores, while improving inventory management and distribution processes.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee all logistics operations, including warehousing, distribution and transportation.
  • Develop and implement efficient logistics strategies to improve supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to avoid stockouts and warehouse staff.
  • Identify areas for improvement in the logistics process and implement solutions.
  • Collaborate with the purchasing team to forecast demand and optimize stock levels.

Key Skills and qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Logistics Manager or in a similar role, preferably in the Retail / DIY Sector.
  • Strong understanding of Logistics, Supply Chain and Inventory Management.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent MS Office (Word, Excel) and strong general computer skills.
  • Experience in using ERP software and inventory management systems.
  • Excellent use of Greek and English language (written and spoken).
