We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our accounting team in Limassol and Nicosia offices. This entry-level position is ideal for a recent graduate or an individual with some accounting experience who is eager to develop their skills in a professional environment. The Junior Accountant will support various accounting tasks, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately enter financial data into accounting software and maintain records of financial transactions.
  • Assist in processing supplier invoices, verifying their accuracy, and ensuring timely payments.
  • Support the preparation and sending of invoices to clients, follow up on outstanding payments, and reconcile accounts.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Support in maintaining the general ledger by posting journal entries and performing account reconciliations.
  • Process employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
  • Help in preparing tax filings and ensuring compliance with local tax regulations.
  • Provide administrative support to the accounting team as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Previous internship or work experience in an accounting role is advantageous but not required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel); familiarity with accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, SAP) is a plus.
  • Fluency in English and Greek
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and challenges.
