An established Island-wide public utility company is looking for an experience electrical technician in Larnaca to join their organisation permanently to keep Cyprus' vital water supply running. The company is well-organised and has on-site free training for the successful candidate. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Carrying out proactive and reactive maintenance of Low Voltage electronic equipment and electrical instruments.
  • Installing and configuring of new electrical and instrument equipment.
  • Reading and interpreting electric diagrams and equipment manuals and following instructions for fault-finding and repairs.
  • You will be part of the Electrical Maintenance Team reporting back and performing duties as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor, Electrical and Instrument Engineer Supervisors. CANDIDATE PROFILE
    • Bachelor's Degree or Certificate in Electrical/ Electronics.
    • Experience working in related industrial environments, preferably in production/process or chemical industries.
    • Practical/Manual skills.
    • Be able to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team of different skillsets and co-ordinate as required.
    • Possess the ability to take initiative under specific circumstances.
    • English (spoken and written) is essential.
    • Flexible and adaptable to the needs of a 24/7 operating plant.
