The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of manual testing experience. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a team of industry experts. If you have the necessary skills and experience, then an attractive remuneration package will be offered for this Limassol based QA Engineer role. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Engage with diverse teams, including developers, business analysts, scrum masters, designers, and stakeholders, serving as a Manual and/or Automation Tester across various projects like full-stack software development, data & AI, and systems implementation.
  • Test Planning: Contribute to the development of test plans aligned with project requirements and specifications.
  • Test Case Design: Create detailed test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Test Execution: Implement test cases to identify defects and ensure functionality aligns with specified requirements. Document defects thoroughly, providing clear steps for reproduction.
  • Defect Tracking: Utilize defect tracking tools to log, monitor, and manage reported issues.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive test documentation, encompassing test cases, test plans, and relevant testing artifacts.
  • Adherence to Testing Standards: Follow established testing processes, methodologies, and standards.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of industry best practices, testing tools, and methodologies.
  • Test Environment Setup: Assist in configuring test environments to replicate real-world scenarios.
  • Communication: Deliver transparent updates on testing progress, results, and issues to project stakeholders. Provide regular status updates and contribute to testing strategy discussions.
  • Test Script Development (based on candidate's experience): Develop and implement automated test scripts using suitable testing frameworks and programming languages (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber). Integrate automated tests into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline for ongoing and automated testing. CANDIDATE PROFILE
    • 2-3 years of manual testing experience.
    • Understanding of the software development life cycle.
    • Ability to independently troubleshoot and devise solutions to technical challenges.
