  • Conducting crew changes in compliance with Seafarers' Employment Agreement and crewing superintendent agreement.
  • Verifying that all seafarers are trained and qualified in full compliance with company, STCW, and flag state requirements.
  • Informing crew wages department of any changes to employment status.
  • Participating in crew planning, promotion, and career development.
  • Participating in recruitment activities.
  • Reviewing vessel's disbursement accounts upon request.
  • Informing relevant parties of any medical cases or accidents.
  • Arranging accident and deviation insurance for non-fare paying passengers.
  • Arranging for cash to master.
  • Verifying and approving payment of travelling expenses.
  • Performing any other special tasks assigned.
  • Being adequately conversant with the company's management system.
  • Implementing effectively the company's management system.
  • Contributing to the development of new or amendment of existing procedures.
  • Promoting and supporting efforts for continual improvement.
