About the Role

Our client, a well-established globally regulated broker, is offering a unique opportunity for a Senior Full Stack Developer to join their Marketing department.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in developing and running multilingual websites using Laravel/WordPress/MODX, as well as back-end experience with 3rd party API integrations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute the full website development lifecycle, from concept to deployment
  • Work with a team to design, develop, and maintain websites
  • Produce clean, well-structured code based on project specifications
  • Integrate 3rd party APIs to enhance website and application functionality
  • Optimize websites and landing pages for SEO and improve overall site speed
  • Troubleshoot and debug technical issues while applying analytical problem-solving skills
  • Manage databases, ensuring efficient data handling and storage
  • Handle web hosting management, including AWS, ensuring smooth performance
  • Customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet specific requirements
  • Perform hands-on development on the Laravel platform, including multilingual site setup
  • Ensure proper documentation of all development processes
  • Work in a highly collaborative environment with designers, developers, and other stakeholders
Requirements
  • Bachelors Degree or high-level of combination of education and experience
  • Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering preferred
  • Minimum 5 year work experience as Web Developer, both front-end and back-end
  • Proven experience working with Laravel, WordPress, MODX, HTML, CSS, Javascript, Ajax, PHP/Laravel and SAAS
  • Good Knowledge of MySQL/RDS
  • Familiarity with any of the modern JavaScript frameworks (JQuery, Angular)
  • Version control (GIT) and JIRA usage experience
  • Experience developing responsive websites
  • Fluency in English, both oral and written
  • Strong decision making skills, ability to work under pressure and manage the team
  • It will be considered an advantage to have knowledge experience with: Ubuntu/Linux, SSH/Shell Scripting, reverse proxy usage and NGINX/Apache configuration
