Technology infrastructure management is a pivotal role within our organization, requiring an accomplished systems engineer to oversee the design, implementation and maintenance of our systems infrastructure based in Nicosia.

The ideal candidate will be a strong team player with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to effectively multitask in a fast-paced environment.

The selected Systems Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and supporting workstations, servers, operating systems, application software, automation tools, virtualisation and storage systems. This includes preparing and implementing configuration changes and upgrades to systems to support new projects, meet compliance requirements and replace aging technology. The position also involves monitoring systems, performing preventive maintenance, detecting and fixing defects, applying new versions and patches and mitigating system vulnerabilities. Additionally, capacity planning and performance tuning, implementing and maintaining systems backup and redundancy strategies and configuring and maintaining systems in accordance with company security and compliance requirements are key responsibilities. Furthermore, the successful candidate will develop and maintain technical documentation and provide support and assistance to users and customers.

The successful candidate must possess a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology or Business Information systems or related field or professional certifications. Analytical and problem-solving abilities, strong interpersonal and team working skills and excellent command of both verbal and written Greek and English languages are essential qualifications. Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems, Windows Active Directory, Exchange Server, Office 365, VMWARE Virtualisation infrastructure, Storage systems, Antivirus and backup systems and Monitoring, management and automation tools are required.
