Cosmetics R&D Specialist

Are you passionate about skincare science and innovative product development? We are looking for a Cosmetics R&D Specialist to join our growing team in Cyprus and lead exciting projects in the skincare industry.

Your Role:

• Develop and optimize skincare and cosmetic formulations (creams, serums, gels, masks, cleansers, peels).

• Conduct lab-scale experiments, stability and compatibility testing, and support scale-up to production.

• Research and evaluate new active ingredients, raw materials, and technologies.

• Collaborate with suppliers and attend international exhibitions to identify trends.

• Prepare technical documentation and support CPNP regulatory submissions.

• Ensure compliance with EU Cosmetics Regulation (EC) No. 1223/2009 and safety standards.

• Work closely with production, quality control, and regulatory affairs to ensure smooth transfer from lab to market.

• Provide technical support to marketing and sales teams (claims, training, product knowledge).

• Contribute to innovation projects that align with brand strategy and consumer needs.

What we're looking for:

• Degree in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry or related field.

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in cosmetic formulation.

• Familiarity with emulsions, surfactants, preservatives, actives, and advanced delivery systems.

• Strong knowledge of EU cosmetics regulations and CPNP.

• Creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about skincare innovation.

• Excellent communication skills in English.
