Akelius Languages is a non-profit organization with offices in Berlin and Nicosia.

We are developing a language learning application,

which is currently available in eleven languages.

You can find it here

UNICEF, UNHCR, SOS Children's Villages and other non-governmental organizations worldwide use our language courses to provide children and adults with language education.

role

You can be based in our Nicosia office,

or work from our office in Limassol.

who you are

We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented and proactive specialist with professional experience in IONIC iOS application development in Nicosia or Limassol.

key responsibilities

  • coordinate development efforts, ensuring alignment with project goals and design guideline
  • manage backlog implementation

  • optimize app performance and ensure seamless compatibility across iPhone and iPad devices

  • oversee application quality to maintain high development standards

  • support the team through active participation, empathetic listening, and knowledge sharing

knowledge of our company's tech stack

  • at least two years of experience with IONIC using Angular
  • knowledge of tools like Git, Jira, Confluence, Figma

  • the ability to work independently and in a team

  • good communication and presentation skills

  • problem-solving skills cultural competency and a pro-active attitude
