Waterpark Manager, Pegia – WMP/10/25Our client, a well esteemed resort is seeking an experienced and dynamic Waterpark Manager to lead the launch and ongoing operations of our new Waterpark, a landmark attraction in Paphos, designed to complement our world-class resort.
Reporting directly to the Hotel General Manager, you will oversee the full operation of the Waterpark, from pre-opening planning to daily management. You will be responsible for recruiting, training, and leading the entire team, while also setting up all operational systems, contracts, and procedures. With a strong background in Food & Beverage operations and a solid knowledge of health, safety, and regulatory frameworks specific to waterparks, you will ensure smooth operations, compliance, and exceptional guest experiences at every level.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the pre-opening phase, including: Recruitment and training of staff across all departments of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for safety, guest services, and F&B. Also for the supplier contracts, equipment installation, and operational licenses and service standards and staff training aligned with luxury brand values. Oversee all aspects of Waterpark operations, including attractions, lifeguard supervision, F&B outlets, guest services, and maintenance. Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations, as well as all local and international standards for waterpark operations. Drive financial performance through effective budgeting, cost control, and revenue optimization across admissions, F&B, and retail. Deliver proactive guest service recovery and maintain the highest levels of guest satisfaction. Work closely with the resort's executive team to ensure seamless integration with hotel services. Requirements
Minimum 5–7 years of managerial experience in a large-scale leisure facility, waterpark, or resort environment.
Strong F&B management background, with proven success in high-volume operations.
Excellent knowledge of waterpark rules, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.
Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in hiring, training, and motivating large teams.
Strong financial acumen, with a track record in budgeting, forecasting, and pre-opening projects.
Excellent communication and organizational skills, with fluency in Greek and English; additional languages are an asset.
Eligibility to live and work in the EU is required.
