Position: Financial Controller

Location: Cyprus, Limassol

Work model: on site

Employment type: Full-time

Remuneration: Base salary quarterly bonuses, depending on experience.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee the standalone and consolidated financial reporting for a group of companies, ensuring compliance with IFRS standards, and provide monthly financial reports as needed. Lead the companys financial planning, including the annual budgeting process
  • Prepare financial statements in line with IFRS and coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors
  • Ensure the company complies with all regulatory requirements, including tax filings and other mandatory submissions
  • Maintain communication with banks and other key service providers.
  • Provide guidance and support on payroll matters as needed
  • Lead the implementation of a new ERP system, offering training and support to team members
  • Develop and enforce internal accounting procedures, ensuring all team members are well-informed and up-to-date
  • Prepare various ad-hoc management reports to support decision-making
  • Assist with tax planning and group restructuring initiatives
  • Handle ad-hoc tasks as required to support the business needs of the company

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Native or fluent in English (C1 level), with strong proficiency in both written and spoken communication
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • ACA or ACCA qualification is required
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Financial Controller, Senior Finance Manager, or similar role
  • Previous experience at a Big Four firm and in the FinTech industry is a plus
  • Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with CySEC reporting is an advantage
  • High attention to detail
  • Experience working in a high-volume transaction environment
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines while managing a team
