Tax/Transfer Pricing Assistant (Nicosia)

Zervos & Co, a well established medium size firm providing professional services such as Audit, Tax and Accounting seeks to recruit motivated individuals to join the tax department in our Nicosia office.

As a Tax/Transfer Pricing Assistant, you will support the tax department and be involved in handling aspects of intra-group transfer pricing activities for clients such as analysis, planning and documentation, of related party transactions within the meaning of Article 33(3) of the Income Tax Law involving goods, services, rights and other intangibles financing or other transactions.

Job Description:

  • Involved in the Company's TP projects
  • Manage/support portfolio of TP compliance clients
  • Perform functional and economic analyses for various transactions with related parties
  • Understanding benchmarking analysis
  • Preparation of reports and presentations based on the findings and work carried out
  • Managing and preparing TP documentation to support intra-group transactions in compliance with local regulations
  • Develop an understanding of complex TP concepts and effectively apply economic and financial knowledge to client situations
  • Support TP audits, including responding to tax authorities on matters or queries relating to Transfer Pricing
  • Identify TP Opportunities within the organization
  • Stay up to date and be able to share the updates within the team regarding new TP updates
  • Develop new initiatives and functions that support the TP practice
  • Conduct regular internal reviews of TP policies in accordance with the latest tax regulation developments
  • Preparation and submittion of clients Summary Information Table (SIT) to the tax authorities

Requirements / Skills:

  • University degree or equivalent in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • At least 1-2 years of prior experience in a similar position
  • Excellent knowledge of TP Laws and strong understanding of TP compliance processes and procedures
  • Good teamwork and collaboration skills, with a willingness to learn
  • Excellent knowledge of Greek and English languages, both verbal and written
