Construction Quality Control Engineer

The Quality Control Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality of construction works

and materials at all stages of the project. The role involves monitoring the implementation

of standards, specifications, and technical guidelines to ensure that the project is

delivered in accordance with client requirements and applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities

 Inspect and monitor the quality of construction works on-site.

 Verify that all materials used comply with technical specifications and certifications.

 Oversee the implementation of designs, studies, and technical instructions.

 Conduct testing and measurements (e.g., concrete strength, weld inspections,

material testing).

 Record non-conformities and propose corrective actions.

 Collaborate with Project Managers and Site Supervisors to resolve technical issues.

 Ensure adherence to ISO quality assurance procedures.

 Prepare quality control reports and maintain thorough documentation for records

and audits.

 Participate in staff training regarding quality standards and technical specifications.

Qualifications

 Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

 3+ years of experience in construction projects with responsibilities in quality

control or as a QC Engineer.

 Knowledge of quality control tools and techniques.

 Experience working with ISO standards.

 Ability to read and analyze technical drawings and specifications.

 Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.

 Good command of English, especially for technical documentation and

communication with suppliers or clients.

 Quality Control certifications (e.g., QA/QC, ISO 9001) will be considered an

asset.
