We're Hiring: Senior C# .NET Engineer (Contract, Remote)

Journey Mentor is looking for a hands-on C# .NET developer with proven Sabre SOAP integration experience
. You'll work on 
Sabre SOAP APIs
 end-to-end: consuming supplier services, handling WS-Security/session flows, and exposing them through a 
REST gateway
 for our internal systems.

What you'll do

  • Integrate 
    Sabre SOAP Web Services
     (sessioned/sessionless, WS-Security, tokens).
  • Build and expose SOAP services as 
    REST APIs
     via our gateway.
  • Implement air workflows: 
    Bargain Finder Max / Low Fare Search
    , 
    Enhanced AirBook
    , 
    AirPricing/Ticketing
    , 
    PNR create/retrieve/cancel
    , queues & ancillaries.
  • Develop reusable 
    .NET SDK/wrappers
     to simplify future supplier integrations.
  • Collaborate on solution design (
    DDD/CQRS
    ), perform code reviews, and mentor teammates.
  • Ensure quality with unit/integration tests, monitoring, and retries/failover handling.

Must-have

  • 6+ years professional 
    C# / .NET (Core or Framework)
    .
  • Hands-on Sabre SOAP integration experience in production
     (please share examples).
  • Strong with 
    ASP.NET Core/MVC
    , 
    REST API development
    , async/multithreading.
  • Familiar with 
    DDD, CQRS, automated testing
    .
  • Skilled in 
    Git
    , debugging, and performance tuning.
  • Database knowledge: 
    MySQL or PostgreSQL
    .
  • Travel supplier experience beyond Sabre (Amadeus, Travelport, hotels, cars).
  • GraphQL, AWS, RabbitMQ
    , observability, or secure API practices.
  • Front-end familiarity (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) to collaborate with UI team.
