Your mission: Make an impact

Hi My name is Boris, I'm a team lead of the Gravity team at TradingView.
Our team is responsible for maintaining and developing several high-load projects:

• PaperTrading — a real-broker simulator for practicing trading and investing
• An internal service for storing quote history and its companion service

We are looking for a developer who will help us improve these services and deliver the planned business objectives.

• Development and maintenance of Java services in a service-oriented architecture (REST)
• Driving internal features for projects from idea to development and production deployment
• Participation in service deployment and writing related documentation
• Task estimation, elaboration, and execution within the team based on Scrum
• Bug investigation and support in their resolution
• Code review and writing unit tests for your code

What makes you the perfect fit

• Experience working with Java SE
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with PostgreSQL
• Understanding and application of algorithms, data structures, and multithreading
• Knowledge of OOP principles and design patterns
• Basic knowledge of computer networks (TCP/IP, HTTP) and operating systems
• Experience working with message brokers
• Architectural approach to development
• Experience working with Git
• Proficiency in technical English

It'll also be an advantage if:

• Willingness to learn Go
• Understanding and experience in trading and investing

This is a hybrid role based in our Tbilisi or Cyprus office.
