Pay CC is a cutting-edge payment solution provider, specifically tailored for high-risk industries. We are looking for an IT Technician to join our rapidly growing team in Cyprus.

Job Summary:

The IT Helpdesk Technician provides critical technical support and troubleshooting to ensure smooth daily operations for our Company. This role involves resolving hardware, software, and network issues, onboarding new employees, and maintaining our IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to IT support requests via email, chat, or phone promptly and professionally
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network problems
  • Install, configure, and upgrade desktop and laptop systems
  • Develop and maintain local networks to ensure optimised performance.
  • Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems.
  • Execute and schedule upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their work.
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding of employees with relevant IT setups
  • Maintain accurate documentation of support activities and IT assets
  • Provide basic training to staff on new software or systems
  • Monitor and support remote work setups as needed
  • Collaborate with vendors for hardware or software procurement and support

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in IT support or Helpdesk roles
  • Knowledge of macOS, and common software applications
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (Wi-Fi, VPN, firewalls)
  • Excellent knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple support requests
  • Enthusiastic, team-oriented, and eager to learn
  • Excellent attention to detail

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with startup environments
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Apple Certified are a plus
  • Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, G Suite,)
