Job Overview

The Trading Platform Administrator will be responsible for managing and optimising our trading platform, ensuring its reliability, security, and performance. The role involves the configuration and maintenance of Windows servers, monitoring server performance, managing firewall rules, and implementing updates to enhance system stability and security. You will be crucial in ensuring that our trading platform, especially MT4, operates seamlessly and efficiently, supporting traders and stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize Windows server settings to ensure optimal performance.
• Maintain firewall rules and access controls to safeguard network security.
• Execute timely updates and patches to the operating system to enhance stability and security.
• Monitor server performance using Zabbix or similar monitoring tools and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate and execute platform updates to ensure the latest features and enhancements are available.
• Manage plugins and extensions essential for MT4 functionality, including Bridge/Gateway and Data Feeder plugins.
• Assist in fail-over procedures and disaster recovery testing to ensure business continuity.
• Provide technical support and assistance to traders and other stakeholders as needed.
• Configure MT4/MT5 or other related platforms settings, including user permissions, security settings, and data backup options.
• Integrate third-party plugins and applications to enhance platform functionality.
• Customize trading parameters and rules to align with business requirements.
• Implement automation and scripting solutions to streamline administrative tasks.
• Configure trading parameters, including symbol settings, liquidity connections, and pricing rules.
• Optimize order execution settings to ensure efficient trade processing.
• Manage FIX API connections and protocols to facilitate connectivity with external systems.
• Collaborate with trading and risk management teams to implement risk controls and compliance measures.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Trading Platform Administrator or MT4 Admin with knowledge of platform management.
• Excellent command of the English language.
• Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell) and automation tools.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
