IT Data & Process Improvement Analyst

The Role:

We are looking for a driven IT Data & Process Improvement Analyst to help optimise delivery performance across our IT and Product organisation. In this role, you will transform operational data into meaningful insights, enabling teams to improve efficiency, quality, and alignment with strategic goals. 

You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across IT Governance, Risk Management, Software Development, Cloud DevOps, and Information Security to build dashboards and performance metrics that promote transparency and accountability. By identifying trends and improvement opportunities, you will support agile delivery practices, drive continuous improvement, and help shape a culture of data-driven excellence. 

The main responsibilities of the position include:
  • Partner with process owners and stakeholders to configure tools and data models that capture team workflows and delivery practices
  • Define and maintain meaningful performance indicators and dashboards with clear visualisations that provide accurate, easy-to-use insights into team effectiveness
  • Analyse operational and delivery data to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and patterns affecting performance and process maturity
  • Translate data findings and stakeholder feedback into practical improvement opportunities and recommendations
  • Develop and support the implementation of strategic improvement plans that streamline workflows, optimise delivery processes, and align with Group goals
  • Ensure improvement plans are clearly communicated, adopted by stakeholders, and tracked through relevant success metrics. 
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation for reporting processes, data models, and metrics to ensure transparency and consistency across the company
Main requirements:
  • BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field
  • Over 4 years of experience in a similar role focused on data-driven process improvement or operational analytics
  • Hands-on experience with a range of tools and technologies, including Agile/DevOps platforms such as Jira, GitLab, Jenkins, and SonarQube; data visualization tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, or similar; SQL and Python for scripting; and Visio or equivalent for process mapping
  • Strong working knowledge of Agile methodologies, delivery reporting, and continuous improvement frameworks
  • Demonstrated expertise in operational excellence, including structuring metrics frameworks, workflow optimisation, business process improvement, and applying ITIL and service management best practices to drive continuous improvement
  • Data-driven and results-oriented, with proven problem-solving skills to identify root causes, implement strategic improvement plans, and deliver measurable outcomes
  • Excellent communication and storytelling abilities, capable of presenting complex insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experienced in change management, guiding teams through transitions and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively while staying up to date with emerging industry trends, technologies, and best practices
