Responsibilities

As a Project Manager within the Service Delivery Team, you will play a pivotal role in planning, executing, and delivering complex international cybersecurity projects for CYBER RANGES.

You will oversee the full project lifecycle - from initiation and definition to successful delivery and client acceptance - ensuring all projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget, while upholding the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

This role requires both strategic leadership and hands-on execution, as you will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage project dependencies, and ensure seamless communication across technical, operational, and executive stakeholders.

You will also ensure that every project aligns with CYBER RANGES' strategic objectives, service standards, and long-term vision in the cyber capacity-building ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the
  planning, implementation, and control
  of international cybersecurity training and simulation projects.
• Translate
  Proposals of Work
  ,
  Project Charters
  , and
  client agreements
  into structured
  project plans
  , ensuring all scope, objectives, and deliverables are clearly defined.
• Develop and maintain
  detailed project schedules
  ,
  Gantt charts
  , and
  Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)
  using enterprise PM tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Jira).
• Coordinate cross-departmental efforts
  , including collaboration with IT Infrastructure, Operations, Scenario Foundry, Marketing, HR, and Finance teams.
• Monitor project milestones
  , deliverables, and dependencies to ensure timely completion and quality control.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate
  technical, operational, and cybersecurity risks
  , applying proactive
  risk management
  and
  contingency planning
  .
• Serve as the
  primary point of contact
  for both internal and external stakeholders — ensuring transparent and effective communication at all levels.
• Forecast and manage
  project resources
  , balancing cost, time, and scope while maintaining high delivery standards.
• Track and report on
  financial performance
  including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Facilitate
  project governance processes
  , including status reports, progress reviews, change control, and lessons-learned documentation.
• Drive
  continuous improvement initiatives
  , optimizing project management frameworks, templates, and reporting standards.
• Support post-delivery phases, including
  client feedback analysis
  ,
  service optimization
  , and
  knowledge transfer
  to operational teams.

Core Requirements

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

• Proven experience managing
  large-scale, multi-stakeholder international ICT projects
  , preferably within the
  cybersecurity, defense, or critical infrastructure
  sectors.
• A
  university degree
  in a relevant technical or managerial field (Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Project Management, etc.).
• Strong familiarity with
  ICT infrastructures, cybersecurity operations
  , and the
  software development lifecycle.
• Excellent
  use of English
  , both written and spoken; proficiency in additional languages is an asset.
• Outstanding
  communication, reporting, and negotiation skills
  with the ability to manage high-level stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.

Essential Project Management Skills

• Change & Configuration Management:
  Ability to handle project scope variations and align them with change control processes.
• Quality Assurance & KPI Tracking:
  Experience defining and tracking
  Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  and ensuring project quality benchmarks are met.
• Documentation & Reporting:
  Ability to prepare professional documentation (PIDs, Risk Logs, RACI Matrices, Lessons Learned, Executive Dashboards).
• Technical Literacy:
  Understanding of cyber range architectures, network topologies, virtualization, and SOC environments is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certifications
  such as PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP, or ITIL are highly valued.
• Experience working with
  international clients
  , government agencies, or defense organizations.
• Knowledge of
  cybersecurity frameworks
  (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, MITRE ATT&CK, NICE Framework) is highly valued.
• Familiarity with

  EU-funded projects
