Hellas Direct is a dynamic and innovative insurtech company dedicated to redefining insurance and making customers' lives better by providing them with personalised and affordable insurance solutions. We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Financial Reporting Associate to join our Finance team and play a key role in driving our financial strategy and operational excellence.

What you will be doing

  • Prepare and analyze monthly management accounts.
  • Coordinate with external auditors to support the year end audit process.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support business projections.
  • Provide input into strategic planning, decision-making, and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Preparation of IFRS 17 Financial statements.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on budgets, variances, and key financial drivers.
  • Lead and manage special projects as assigned by management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and efficiency.
  • Prepare clear, insightful reports and presentations for management and stakeholders.

What we are looking for

  • ACA qualified accountant (or equivalent), ideally from a Big 4 firm.
  • Solid working knowledge of IFRS 17 and its implications for insurance accounting.
  • Demonstrable experience in the general insurance sector.
  • Strong experience in management accounting, financial reporting, and budgeting.
  • Proven ability to prepare accurate financial projections and analytical reports.
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills; experience with reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
