We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Risk Manager to support the Head of Risk in maintaining and building effective risk management practices across the organization. This is a global role and requires a hands-on leader with strong operational risk expertise and the ability to engage and build relationships with senior executive leadership. The ideal candidate will provide oversight across key risk areas, ensure governance frameworks are in place, and contribute to enterprise-wide risk assessments and strategic risk projects.

Your EDGE Assignment/You Will

• Analyze current and emerging risks, identifying potential threats that could impact the business.
• Evaluate existing controls and implement enhancements, including technical solutions, to mitigate risk exposure.
• Lead the enterprise-wide Annual Risk Review by collaborating with departments and executives to assess current key risks, identify new risks, and report findings to the Risk and Compliance Committee (RAC).
• Provide second-line oversight and monitoring over key group risks, ensuring robust processes, policies, limits, and controls are in place.
• Assist in establishing and strengthening the organization's Risk Governance framework.
• Support the review and implementation of risk management policies and procedures across the business.
• Track key risk indicators (KRIs) and provide senior management with risk monitoring insights and reports.
• Work closely with business units to enhance their understanding of risks under their control and develop effective risk mitigation strategies.
• Engage with senior executive leadership, external auditors, regulators, and other key stakeholders on risk-related matters.
• Drive a strong risk culture by leading awareness initiatives, training sessions, and workshops.
• Oversee the supplier onboarding process to ensure appropriate risk assessments and due diligence are conducted.
• Support the Compliance team in incident reporting and assist in maintaining and updating the Group Risk Register.
• Provide data-driven risk reporting and analysis to support executive decision-making.
• Assist in the annual review and management of group-wide insurance policies.
• Support the Head of Risk on special projects by coordinating multiple work streams and ensuring project deadlines are met.

Are you the one?

• Strong leadership experience in risk management, with a track record of successfully overseeing risk frameworks and governance.
• Proven experience in operational risk management, with an understanding of risk controls, mitigation strategies, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience engaging with senior executive leadership, with the ability to communicate complex risk matters clearly and effectively.
• Hands-on approach to risk management, with the ability to execute key risk initiatives while providing strategic leadership.
• Good to have (but not essential) experience in Financial Risks like Market, Credit and Security Risk.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in quantitative and qualitative risk assessments.
• This role requires a hands-on leader with strong operational risk expertise and the ability to engage and build relationships at different levels across the organization.
• Proficiency in risk management tools, reporting systems, and regulatory compliance frameworks.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Risk Management, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., FRM, PRM, CRISC, or CISSP) are an advantage.
