Role Overview

As a Chef Assistant, you will support the Chef in the daily operation of the SOHO canteen

and catering services. You will assist with food preparation, service, stock management, and

overall kitchen operations, ensuring a high standard of quality, hygiene, and service.

Key Responsibilities


• Assist with the preparation and cooking of daily breakfasts and lunches for SOHO

members


• Help serve breakfast items, coffees, and beverages throughout the day


• Support the preparation and execution of menus for daily service and SOHO events


• Assist with food preparation and service for internal and external SOHO events


• Help manage stock control, inventory, and storage


• Receive and check deliveries from suppliers


• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and service areas


• Follow health & safety and food hygiene regulations at all times


• Provide friendly and professional service to SOHO members


• Support the Chef with daily tasks and operational needs
