Columbia Group is looking for a responsible
Business Analyst
to analyse, design, and optimize business processes, acting as a bridge between stakeholders and technology teams to support digital transformation initiatives.

The Business Analyst plays a key role in bridging business needs with technology solutions. The role focuses on analysing and redesigning processes to support efficiency, scalability, and digital transformation. Acting as a link between stakeholders and technical teams, the Business Analyst ensures that digital transformation initiatives are aligned with business objectives and deliver measurable value.

This is a full-time position based in our office in Limassol, suitable for motivated people who enjoy working in a challenging environment and have a passion for technology and its ability to transform business.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, document, and optimize business processes as part of the company's digital transformation and ERP implementation programs, as well as across departments to improve efficiency, quality, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, identify pain points, and propose practical solutions.
  • Map current and future state processes using standard methodologies (e.g., BPMN, flowcharts).
  • Support the design and implementation of new systems or process changes, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop clear documentation, including process maps, SOPs, and requirements specifications.
  • Facilitate workshops, meetings, and interviews to validate process understanding and solution proposals.
  • Assist project teams during implementation, user acceptance testing (UAT), and change management.
  • Monitor KPIs and performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry regulations, and best practices.
  • Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Help build the skill sets of team members and share learnings with other employees.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Management, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Proven experience (2+ years) as a Business Process Analyst, Business Analyst, System Analyst, Project Coordinator or similar role.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and processes.
  • Experience in process mapping and documentation tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart, ARIS, Bizagi).
  • Experience gathering and documenting requirements, and translating them into functional specifications.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of cross-functional teams.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Considered an Advantage:

  • Professional certifications (e.g., CBAP, Lean Six Sigma, BPM, PMP, PRINCE2 certification).
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP, Oracle).
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall).
  • Experience in managing/coordinating technology projects;
  • Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Understanding of RPA (Robotic Process Automation), AI-driven solutions or digital transformation initiatives.
  • Experience in change management and training delivery.
