Akelius Languages is a non-profit organization with offices in Berlin, Nicosia and Limassol.

We are developing a language learning application,

which is currently available in eleven languages.

You can find it here

role

You can be based in our Nicosia office,

or work from our office in Limassol.

key responsibilities

  • develop engaging online vocational learning content using e-learning authoring tools

  • create clear and concise reading materials for offline analogue learning that align with online courses

  • review, edit, and optimize the quality, accuracy,

and instructional effectiveness of vocational courses

  • ensure all content meets high standards of language, clarity, and vocational relevance

Additional tasks may arise depending on workload and project priorities.

who you are

We are looking for a highly organized, fluent English speaker with exceptional attention to detail and a proactive approach.

Professional experience in vocational content creation is a plus.

education

  • you have a university degree or relevant education in Education, Linguistics or a related field

  • excellent proficiency in written and spoken English

knowledge of other languages is a strong advantage

experience

  • at least three years of experience in vocational content creation or teaching

  • excellent knowledge of adult learning principles and vocational training methods

  • working knowledge of the MS Office suite

skills

  • the ability to work independently and in a team

  • good communication and presentation skills

  • problem-solving skills cultural competency and a proactiveattitude
