We're looking for a
Lead Data Scientist
who has gone beyond prototypes — someone who's shipped
AI models to production
that drove real impact, and who thrives at the intersection of AI, product, and infrastructure.

What You'll Do

  • Design, setup, train, and ship ML models and pipeline (including LLM- and embedding-based) that power
    user-facing features
    and internal research tools
  • Collaborate with product and engineering to
    build AI-powered SaaS features
    at scale
  • Own the end-to-end lifecycle: from exploratory data analysis, model prototyping, and evaluation, to deployment and monitoring
  • Bring domain knowledge of
    AI agents
    ,
    prompt engineering
    , and
    retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)
    to inform smart system design
  • Contribute to the design of our ML infrastructure (e.g., model versioning, CI/CD for ML, logging, monitoring)
  • Support emotion and attention modeling using multimodal data (video, facial signals, telemetry)
  • Collaborate with our neuroscience research team to translate experimental methods into scalable machine learning solutions
  • Engage with playtesting data and (if you're a gamer) bring user empathy into model design
  • Research and bring new ideas and inspiration on how to empower Sensemitter's pipelines with AI & ML

Our technical stack

  • DevOps
    : Docker, k8s, Gitlab CI/CD, Terraform, Google Cloud

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience shipping production ML models
    that made a measurable business impact
  • Experience building AI/ML features into
    SaaS products
  • Strong practical knowledge of
    LLMs
    ,
    agents
    , vector search, embeddings, and real-world RAG applications
  • Familiarity with
    MLOps
    tools and best practices (e.g., MLFlow, DVC, vLLM, Triton, CI/CD for models)
  • Solid backend/infra understanding (containerization, APIs, cloud compute, etc.)
  • Proficient in Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, and modern ML/AI libraries
  • Strong leader, communicator who can work closely with Product, Research, and Engineering
  • Experience with
    computer vision
    or video analysis pipelines
  • Bonus: a passion for games, player behavior, or UX — and ideally, someone who enjoys playtesting
