Qualityserve is growing and is seeking to recruit an Audit Senior.
The successful candidate will be involved in the provision of audit and assurance services within the Audit Department of Qualityserve, covering a diverse portfolio of local and international clients across various industries. This position is ideal for individuals with proven audit experience and for those eager to further develop their technical expertise, professional judgement, and client-service skills within a supportive and growing team.
Responsibilities
• Perform audit engagements for a portfolio of clients in accordance with ISAs and applicable regulatory requirements
• Prepare audit working papers, financial statements, and supporting documentation using Caseware
• Review accounting records and evaluate internal controls, identifying key audit risks and proposing appropriate audit procedures
• Perform substantive and analytical audit procedures, ensuring audit files are completed in a high-quality and timely manner
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS and the Cyprus Companies Law
• Communicate with clients on audit findings, outstanding information, deadlines, and audit progress
• Assist in resolving technical or audit-related matters and provide support to clients on accounting and reporting issues
• Plan and organise audit work in line with deadlines, ensuring efficient workflow and client satisfaction
• Handle ad-hoc audit and assurance assignments as required
Qualifications
• College or University Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• ACCA/ACA qualification or at the final stage of ACCA/ACA studies
• Minimum 3
years of experience in an audit firm or similar audit role
• Excellent knowledge of IFRS, ISAs, and Cyprus Companies Law
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Fluent in written and spoken Greek and English
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office; experience with Caseware is essential
