Why this role matters
The Marketing Technologist manages and improves the marketing technology stack across web and app platforms, ensuring consistent tracking, attribution, and reporting for paid media and other traffic channels. This includes configuring and maintaining integrations with advertising and analytics platforms such as GA4, Amplitude, AppsFlyer, Singular, Google Tag Manager, Google Cloud, and other related tools.
With a solid understanding of media buying processes (audience setup, conversion tracking, bidding logic), the role works closely with Media Buying and other teams to monitor data flows, troubleshoot tracking issues, and resolve discrepancies in campaign reporting. Additionally, the Marketing Technologist conducts ad hoc analyses, tests and implements new integrations, reviews existing tools and processes to identify improvements that make marketing operations more reliable and scalable.
The role is based in our Limassol office, Cyprus. In case of relocation, we offer full relocation support for you and your family to make your move smooth and worry-free.
What You'll Actually Do
- Set up and maintain analytics tools across web and app (e.g., GA4, AppsFlyer, Singular, Amplitude). Configure event tracking, conversion tracking, and postbacks for major platforms (Google, Facebook, TikTok, Snapchat, etc.), ensuring data consistency across client- and server-side implementations.
- Monitor accuracy of marketing data. Collaborate with data/engineering teams to build centralized reporting (performance, ad spend) across multiple traffic sources. Provide ad hoc analyses to support business questions.
- Set up and maintain integrations between MarTech tools, MMPs, ad platforms, and internal systems. Implement automation workflows (e.g., S2S, APIs, no-code tools) to streamline data flows and reduce manual processes.
- Partner with Marketing, Data, and Product teams to align tracking, reporting, and testing infrastructure with business needs.
- Manage tags, advertising pixels, events and tracking scripts (Google Tag Manager). Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.
- Work with MMPs (AppsFlyer, Singular) and internal teams to monitor fraud signals (blocked installs, suspicious clicks, time-to-install anomalies). Suggest ideas and processes to detect, review, and reduce invalid traffic in attribution and reporting.
- Support audience strategy by creating, managing, and troubleshooting audiences in GA4, Amplitude, media buying platforms, and MMPs.
Who We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or equivalent practical experience.
- Certifications in GA4, AppsFlyer, Google Tag Manager, or similar tools are a plus
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with marketing analytics and technology. Skilled in managing event tracking across web and mobile, implementing server-side integrations, and delivering reporting for paid media, and other marketing channels.
- Strong expertise in GA4, MMP systems, Amplitude, and Google Tag Manager, with experience managing both client-side and server-side implementations.
- Proven experience with conversion tracking and postbacks (Facebook, Google, TikTok) for web and mobile.
- Working knowledge of JavaScript and web development basics, applied to troubleshooting, debugging, and custom tracking
- Solid SQL skills and experience building centralized performance and ad spend reporting.
- Experience with A/B testing tools (e.g., VWO) and methodologies, from hypothesis design through implementation and statistical analysis.
- Familiarity with no-code/low-code automation tools (e.g., Integromat/Make, Zapier) to streamline operational workflows.
- Knowledge of basic cloud infrastructure tools i.e. Google Cloud and Amazon AWS.
- Strong understanding of attribution models (last-click, multi-touch, probabilistic/deterministic)
- Knowledge of data privacy frameworks (GDPR) and consent management (Consent Mode v2, CMP integration).
- Upper-intermediate English (written and spoken).
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
