Role Description
We're looking for a smart, highly organised
D2C Operations & Systems Manager
to bring structure, visibility, and efficiency to our growing direct-to-consumer (D2C) channel.
You'll work closely with our Comms Director and CEO to operationalise the entire customer journey: From order placement and fulfilment to reporting and optimisation. This is a hybrid role that blends technical fluency, operational thinking, and project coordination. You'll be the driving force behind making our D2C channel seamless, scalable, and systematised, ensuring every order flows efficiently from cart to customer.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end D2C order process, ensuring smooth flow between Shopify, 3PLs, and internal systems
- Own relationships with fulfilment partners and resolve delivery or logistics issues
- Monitor inventory, product availability, and order trends to flag risks or bottlenecks
- Configure and manage Shopify apps and integrations (subscriptions, bundling, tracking, etc.)
- Evaluate and implement new tools to improve fulfilment, reporting, or customer experience
- Build and maintain dashboards to visualise key D2C performance and operational KPIs
- Analyse Shopify and order data to create useful customer segments and cohorts
- Deliver regular reports on fulfilment, sales performance, and customer behaviour
- Coordinate timelines and cross-functional deliverables across marketing, fulfilment, and tech
- Drive structure and accountability, turning strategy into actionable plans with clear owners
- Document key workflows, integrations, and system setups
Qualifications
- 2+ years experience in D2C ecommerce, operations, logistics, or systems/project management
- Strong working knowledge of Shopify (admin, apps, customer data, fulfilment integrations)
- Comfortable managing tools and integrations with fulfilment partners or logistics systems
- Experience integrating tools such as Shopify apps, Klaviyo, and Appstle
- Proficient in Google Sheets/Excel; bonus points for Airtable, Notion, or project management tools
- Technically fluent. Not a developer, but confident with light technical setup, configuration, and testing
- Highly organised, proactive, and accountable - thrives in building order from chaos
- Excellent communication skills and confident working cross-functionally
