Job Role
To assist the Executive Housekeeper in the effective operation of the Housekeeping Department, ensuring that all company standards of quality and cleanliness are maintained at all times whilst meeting the needs of the business.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for the smooth operation of the floor assigned
- Responsible for the performance of staff under supervision (maids, housemen)
- Directing and supervising all maids, seeing those job assignments are done on time
- Inspects and completes inspection reports
- Reports all departments and other information such as "early make up" as soon as possible to room attendants
- Walks around all entire assigned floor/floors, checking for items in need of immediate attention such as burned out bulbs spot carpets, walls and trash in stairways
- Checks all floor service areas and its supplies and equipment, to make sure that they are in working order
- Reports to engineering, using a maintenance work order and any defect or equipment failure
- Coordinates with room service for tray clearance
- Prepares housekeeping status reports
- Perform any other relevant duties assigned by the Executive Housekeeper
Requirements
- Minimum 2-3 years of proven experience in a similar position at a 5* Hotel
- Degree or hospitality related qualification will be considered as an advantage
- Excellent knowledge of English and Greek
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment and cope under pressure

- Excellent interpersonal skills in handling staff relations and/or guest complaints.

Salary: 1.150€/month net+TIPS
Working hours: 6 days/week, 8 hours/day
Accomodation/meals: provided by employer for free, 3 meals per day on and off duty
