Senior Accountant
to join our finance team and support accurate financial reporting, real estate project accounting, and continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Accounting & Reporting

  • Record daily transactions and maintain the general ledger
  • Perform account reconciliations and support month/year-end closings
  • Prepare management reports, variance analyses, and summaries

Real Estate Project Invoicing & Cost Allocation

  • Allocate expenses to project cost centers (construction, land, consultants)
  • Review contractor invoices and supporting documents
  • Assist with project cost tracking reports

Accounts Payable & Receivable

  • Process supplier invoices and execute vendor payments
  • Issue customer invoices, monitor collections, and reconcile accounts

Bank & Cash Management

  • Prepare and review daily/weekly bank reconciliations
  • Record bank transactions and support cash flow monitoring
  • Ensure compliance with payment and receipt policies

Taxation & Compliance

  • Prepare VAT returns and support regulatory compliance
  • Stay updated on relevant tax and accounting legislation

Budgeting & Analysis

  • Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts
  • Perform actual vs. budget variance analysis

Systems & Process Improvement

  • Ensure accurate posting in SAP and other systems
  • Identify process improvements and support system implementations

Teamwork & Leadership

  • Supervise junior accounting staff
  • Collaborate across departments and provide accounting support
  • Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity
  • Handle ad-hoc duties as assigned

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in accounting
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting and reconciliation processes
  • Experience with accounting software such as SAP, QuickBooks, or similar, with advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent analytical and organizational abilities
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and compliance with internal controls
