As a
Deployment Engineer
in our
Limassol team
, you'll be part of a global deployment and integration group responsible for preparing, testing, and deploying Cognyte's advanced
GSM, UMTS, LTE, and NR (5G)
systems.

You'll play a critical role across the full project lifecycle — from supporting pre-sales activities, through system preparation and validation in Cyprus, to customer deployment and post-installation support.

As a Cognyter you will:

• Deploy and integrate systems
  at customer sites and remotely, ensuring successful installations and configurations.
• Conduct end-user training
  and
  Acceptance Tests (FAT/SAT)
  for our telecom and intelligence solutions.
• Manage projects end-to-end
  — from initiation and planning through deployment and acceptance.
• Provide Tier-3 technical support
  (software and hardware) to resolve complex issues quickly and effectively.
• Document project activities
  — including configurations, installation reports, and test results — with precision.
• Collaborate closely
  with R&D, Product, and Support teams to ensure seamless implementation and continuous improvement.
• Participate in on-call rotation
  and provide ongoing operational support as part of the deployment team.
• Travel globally
  to support project rollouts (approximately 30–40% travel expected).
• Continuously refine
  deployment methodologies, automation tools, and team best practices.
• Support pre-sales activities
  by providing technical expertise, conducting demos or PoCs, and contributing to system design and proposals.
• Prepare, configure, and test systems in Cyprus
  prior to shipment, ensuring full functionality, compliance, and readiness for deployment.

For that mission you'll need:

• Bachelor's degree in
  Telecommunications Engineering
  ,
  Computer Science
  , or a related technical field.
• Solid
  technical foundation
  with hands-on experience in system deployment, integration, or testing.
• Excellent
  understanding of Windows OS
  , networking, and IT systems (Linux experience is a plus).
• Proven
  customer-facing or pre-sales technical experience
  .
• Strong
  organizational and documentation skills
  — able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent
  communication and interpersonal skills
  , both with customers and internal teams.
• Self-driven
  , proactive, and detail-oriented approach with a sense of ownership and accountability.

Other requirements:

• Experience in
  Telecom / Wireless Communications
  (GSM, UMTS, LTE, NR/5G).
• Knowledge of
