Position Overview

We are seeking a
Risk Management Consultant
with
2–5 years of experience
to join our Advisory Department. The successful candidate will support clients in designing, implementing, and enhancing risk management frameworks, conducting risk assessments, preparing risk reports, and ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. The role involves working with clients across financial services, fintech, payments, funds, and crypto-related sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive
    risk assessments
    covering operational, financial, technological, and regulatory areas.
  • Develop and enhance
    risk management frameworks
    (ISO 31000, COSO).
  • Identify, evaluate, and prioritise risks and recommend effective mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare clear, structured
    risk analysis reports
    and presentations for senior management.
  • Maintain and monitor
    risk registers
    , KRIs, and follow-up actions.
  • Assess the effectiveness of internal controls and propose improvements.
  • Collaborate with compliance, internal audit, and other advisory teams.
  • Support clients in aligning their risk management practices with
    regulatory requirements
    .
  • Contribute to annual risk assessments and relevant regulatory risk documentation.
  • Monitor emerging risks and industry developments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Risk Management, Finance, Accounting
    ,
    Economics,  Mathematics
    or a related discipline.
  • 2–5 years of experience
    in risk management or a related field within financial services or consultancy.
  • Solid understanding of
    risk management principles and frameworks
    (ISO 31000, COSO).
  • Proven experience performing risk assessments and developing risk mitigation strategies.
  • Knowledge of operational, financial, and technological risk management processes.
  • Familiarity with
    regulatory requirements
    applicable to financial institutions.
  • Proficiency in
    risk management tools/software
    and strong Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Professional qualifications, or working towards qualifications such as CFA, FRM, PRM, CySEC certifications, or other relevant credentials, are preferred and will be considered an advantage.
