Head of DevOps

Our client is an international product-based IT company specializing in the iGaming industry. Born in 2014, they rocked the CIS region, and now take the success to the world.

We are currently looking for a Head of DevOps.

Key responsibilities and your contribution:

• Strategic development of the DevOps department: building Duty/SRE teams, organizational structure, and role definitions

• Training and mentoring on DevOps/SRE best practices

• Establishing on-call and incident response processes

• Managing bare metal infrastructure with Kubernetes

• Supporting the tech stack: MongoDB, CockroachDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Zabbix, Grafana, Sentry, VictoriaMetrics

• Optimizing performance and security using Cloudflare

• Implementing production readiness and platform standards

• Standardizing monitoring and alerting

• Improving CI/CD processes

• Building proactive incident response capabilities

Your qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as DevOps

• Experience with Kubernetes for managing and scaling production environments

• Familiarity with infrastructure in high-load systems (bare metal/clouds)

• Solid understanding of CI/CD processes and pipeline optimization

• Practical use of Zabbix, Grafana, and VictoriaMetrics for monitoring and alerting

• Experience working with databases such as MongoDB, CockroachDB, PostgreSQL, and Redis

• Hands-on experience with message brokers like Kafka and RabbitMQ in distributed architectures

• Familiar with elk stack

• Experienced in managing IT infrastructure, including routers, load balancers, and server rack installations. Proficient in advanced Cloudflare configuration and performance/security tuning.
