Overview of the Role

We are looking for a Graphic and Motion Designer who can elevate the Instacoins brand through exceptional visual design, motion graphics and storytelling. This role combines strong graphic design foundations with motion, social content and video editing skills. You will support digital, print, marketing, product and growth initiatives.

You will work closely with Product, Marketing, Social and Leadership teams, contributing to campaigns, brand systems, multimedia content and creative direction. As Instacoins expands, this role offers a path towards creative leadership and the opportunity to help build a future design team.

Key Responsibilities

Brand and Visual Design

• Design unique branded graphics and illustrations that strengthen the Instacoins visual identity.
• Create all brand materials across digital and print, including brochures, flyers, banners, guides, one-pagers and event assets.
• Maintain a cohesive visual identity across all channels.
• Develop brand guidelines, visual frameworks and reusable design templates.
• Support product teams with UI-focused marketing visuals, mock-ups and onboarding assets.

Motion Graphics and Video

• Create motion graphics, animated visuals, typography animations and explainer videos.
• Edit video content with strong pacing, storytelling, effects and audio alignment.
• Produce engaging short-form videos for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram and YouTube Shorts.

UGC and Social Content Collaboration

• Work directly with UGC content creators to guide, refine and elevate content in line with the Instacoins brand.
• Adapt UGC clips into branded video edits, motion graphics and platform-optimised formats.
• Provide mood boards, creative direction and templates for creators.
• Ensure all UGC aligns visually with campaigns and overall brand tone.

Social Media and Marketing Design

• Produce static and animated creatives for Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, YouTube and paid advertising channels.
• Collaborate on campaign concepts, storyboards and creative ideas.
• Design assets for newsletters, announcements, paid campaigns and community content.

Presentations and Pitch Decks

• Design professional pitch decks, investor presentations, sales decks and partnership documents.
• Build presentation templates and visual frameworks for internal and external teams.

Print Production and Delivery

• Prepare print-ready files following correct specifications, including CMYK, bleed and safety margins.
• Work with printers or external vendors to ensure excellent print quality.

Must-Have Skills and Qualifications

• Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects and Premiere Pro.
• Strong motion design and video editing abilities.
• Solid graphic design fundamentals, including layout, typography, colour theory and composition.
• Experience creating social-first content, especially short-form video.
• Proficiency with Figma for UI-related marketing visuals and simple UX tasks.
• Experience preparing assets for print production.
• Strong presentation design skills using Google Slides, Keynote or PowerPoint.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with UGC creators and work with raw content.
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
• A portfolio or showreel demonstrating strong branding, motion and video work.

Good-to-Have Skills

• 3D design or animation skills using Blender or Cinema 4D.
• Illustration or icon design capabilities.
• Experience designing performance marketing creatives for Meta, TikTok or Google.
• Understanding of UX principles and basic design systems.
• Familiarity with luxury, crypto, or fintech brands.
• Basic photography or ability to capture simple content.
