Tax Associate

) is looking for an experienced Tax Associate to join our team.

dba is a dynamic firm of professional accountants and business advisers, located in a prime location in the centre of Nicosia. We are members of DFK International, an international association of accountancy firms and business advisers.

The role offers hands-on exposure to Cyprus and international tax matters, including corporate restructurings, cross-border transactions, VAT advisory, and transfer pricing, within a collaborative and technically strong environment.

Tax Associate – Nicosia

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Manage Cyprus Income Tax and VAT compliance for a portfolio of clients, including the preparation, review, and submission of individual and corporate tax returns and related tax forms
• Ensure the accurate, complete, and timely filing of all assigned tax declarations and coordinate the calculation and payment of tax liabilities
• Prepare, review, and maintain organised tax files, documentation, and working papers
• Review tax computations and disclosures in clients' Financial Statements and liaise with the Audit and Accounting Departments
• Prepare and/or assist with Transfer Pricing documentation
• Draft tax memo and advisory notes on the tax implications of transactions and structures
• Liaise with the Cyprus Tax Department and other authorities on client tax matters
• Stay up to date with developments in tax legislation and practice and apply technical knowledge to client cases
• Collaborate with management and internal teams to plan workloads and meet statutory deadlines

Required qualifications:

• Relevant university degree and/or professional qualification
• 1–5 years' experience in a similar position within an audit or tax advisory firm
• Excellent knowledge of Greek and English
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact clearly with colleagues and clients at all levels
• Proven ability to establish and maintain strong professional relationships
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and delivering client-focused solutions
