HRus Partners (license no 414), on behalf of our client, a well-established Broker with International presence, we are currently looking for a Senior WordPress Developer to join their expanding team.

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Senior WordPress Developer to take ownership of advanced WordPress projects, from custom theme and plugin development to integrations and performance optimization. You'll be responsible for building fast, clean, and reliable WordPress-based websites with strong attention to detail and high-quality code.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress themes and plugins

Convert Figma or XD designs into pixel-perfect, responsive WordPress layouts

Integrate REST APIs and third-party services (CRM, payment systems, analytics, etc.)

Optimize performance, Core Web Vitals, and SEO across all WordPress environments

Implement custom post types, taxonomies, and ACF or Gutenberg blocks

Debug and resolve complex WordPress or PHP-related issues

Use Git for version control and ensure code quality and maintainability

Collaborate with designers and frontend developers to ensure perfect execution

Requirements

3+ years of professional WordPress development experience

Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+)

Deep understanding of WordPress core, hooks, and plugin architecture

Experience with Elementor and Advanced Custom Fields (ACF)

Proficiency in MySQL and query optimization

Experience integrating and customizing APIs

Strong grasp of performance optimization, security, and SEO best practices

Ability to work independently and deliver clean, maintainable code

Nice to Have

Experience with WooCommerce or membership/subscription functionality

Familiarity with multi-language setups (WPML, Polylang, etc.)

Understanding of accessibility and best UX/UI implementation practices
