Hi there
We're looking for an experienced Backend Team Lead to help grow and manage one of our key engineering teams.

In this role, you'll work closely with stakeholders (often engineers from other departments), design fault-tolerant and distributed architectures, translate business requirements into clear technical tasks, conduct code reviews, and continuously improve the product. You'll still write code — but that's not your main mission here.

What you'll do:

  •  Manage the product: analyze and validate incoming feature requests, translate them into clear technical and product requirements, and ensure alignment with company goals
  • Collaborate with other development teams to ensure smooth integration and timely delivery of new functionality
  • Work closely with the project manager to align technical implementation with product strategy and deadlines
  • Participate in the hiring process: conduct technical interviews and support newcomers during onboarding
  • Oversee the design and development of backend and frontend components with a focus on architectural integrity and effective teamwork
  • Conduct code reviews
  • Hold regular 1:1s and performance reviews, supporting team members' growth and development
  • Work with DevOps engineers to organize efficient release processes and configure CI/CD pipelines

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in backend development
  • 2+ years in a Tech Lead or Team Lead role (architecture, team motivation and development)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments
  • Solid understanding of distributed systems design patterns and network protocols
  • Clear grasp of the full software development lifecycle
  • Strong hands-on experience with Go
  • Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins)
  • Experience with relational and non-relational databases
  • Proven experience in designing APIs and microservice architectures
  • English level — B1 or higher
