The company owns the InstaForex brand and provides its services through the website and enables its clients to trade financial instruments through its trading platforms.

Position Overview:

If you are already in Cyprus, we are looking for an
Assistant Compliance Officer
with a minimum of 1 year experience in the industry to support the smooth operation of our forex business ensuring that the company operates in full adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry standards. The role involves monitoring business activities, reviewing client documentation, helping with compliance reporting, and supporting the implementation of AML/CFT procedures. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced and regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft relevant compliance policies and procedures and monitor their practical implementation by the relevant departments.
  • Review, approve and/or monitor communications and information to Clients (including customer support communications, marketing communications, affiliate websites)
  • Keep abreast with new legislation and regulation updates, and report in summary form such updates to the Head of Compliance
  • Conduct internal compliance audits and report relevant monitoring findings and recommendations for correction of any deficiencies to the Head of Compliance
  • Assist in the handling of client complaints and/or monitor the handling of client complaints.
  • Manage and oversee a team of call monitoring officers
  • Assist call monitoring officers in the determination of weaknesses/misconduct contrary to the Company's standards and regulatory requirements
  • Monitor calls on a daily basis
  • Review communication monitoring reports and provide reports to the Head of Compliance
  • Undertake other compliance duties as requested by the Head of Compliance.

Requirements:

  • University degree in Law/Business/Finance/Risk Management/Accounting/Economics or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience within the forex industry
  • Experience within compliance will be considered an advantage.
  • Holder of CySEC certification will be considered an advantage
  • Excellent knowledge of English.
  • Very good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexible, energetic with a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Strong critical thinking skills.
  • Computer literate.
