The Role

We're looking for an experienced
Senior Backend Developer
to join our fast-paced software development team. You'll be designing, developing, and maintaining backend services that power our SaaS ecosystem, while also working on cutting-edge integrations with AI/ML services. This is an opportunity to have a direct impact on the evolution of a global PropTech platform used across 20+ countries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code with unit tests
  • Develop new features using modern technologies, including AI/ML services (OpenAI, Anthropic, Hugging Face)
  • Design and integrate AI-powered APIs for natural language search, recommendations, and workflow automation
  • Troubleshoot and resolve escalated technical issues efficiently
  • Collaborate in brainstorming sessions and propose AI-driven solutions where relevant
  • Conduct peer code reviews through pull requests
  • Share knowledge and help maintain high-quality code across the team
  • Work as part of a motivated, focused development team

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience working with
    PHP
  • Strong experience in building and maintaining web applications
  • Hands-on experience integrating third-party APIs (ideally including AI/LLM APIs such as OpenAI)
  • Deep knowledge of any
    PHP framework
  • Experience with
    SQL
    or ORM libraries
  • Solid understanding of microservices architecture and design patterns
  • Strong object-oriented programming skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Working experience with Git in a team environment
  • Good knowledge of HTTP and RESTful APIs
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with
    Java
  • Experience with
    AWS
    , Terraform, or Docker
  • Previous experience with
    CI/CD pipelines
  • Knowledge of AI concepts such as
    embeddings, vector databases, or natural language processing
