Responsible for segments of test planning, design and execution, meeting planned scope, schedule and maintaining the engagement and relationship with the client/ internal customers. Provides recommendations for issue resolution, system optimization and test efficiency.
What will your job look like?
- Implement Automation tests based on the requirements, using the Java Test Automation framework employed for that product.
- Have a detailed understanding of the Java Test Automation frameworks used by the team (based on Cucumber, TestNG etc.) and evolve them according to testing needs.
- Own activities and pipelines that include running Automation tests, e.g. CD and Release pipelines, in partnership with DevOps team.
- Interact with PgM, Dev and DevOps to run and support such pipelines, coordinate such activities in the context of releases.
All you need is...
- Bachelor’s degree in IT/ Computer Science/ Industrial Engineering/ System Analysis.
- 5+ years of experience in Automation Testing, depth knowledge of testing tools and methodologies.
- Excellent knowledge of Java programming language.
- Telecommunication experience/ knowledge.
- Have a deep understanding of the products developed by the team, the way they interact with other Amdocs products, and the larger flows and deployments they are part of.
Nice to have:
- Cucumber or TestNG.
- Kubernetes.
- OCP, AWS or Azure.
- Cursor (or other GenAI/Vibe Programming Tools).
- Bash/Python.
