Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Massage Therapist role based in Ayia Napa. The Massage Therapist will provide a variety of professional treatments, including relaxing massages, deep tissue work, sport massage, Thai massage, and other modalities offered by the academy. Daily responsibilities include assessing client needs, recommending appropriate therapies, maintaining a clean and welcoming treatment space, and ensuring proper hygiene and safety standards. The role involves managing appointment schedules, documenting treatments, and collaborating with the team to deliver consistent, high-quality client experiences. The Massage Therapist is expected to promote the academy’s services, support client education about self-care, and contribute to a positive, respectful workplace culture. Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills, with a focus on client satisfaction, professionalism, and clear communication.
- Proficiency in therapeutic massage techniques, including body massage and stress-relief modalities.
- Experience or training in Shiatsu or similar bodywork practices is highly beneficial.
- Ability to support clients with stress management through appropriate massage and relaxation techniques.
- Recognized certification or diploma in massage therapy or bodywork from an accredited institution.
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and basic contraindications for massage, with adherence to ethical and safety standards.
- Physical stamina and proper body mechanics to perform massages throughout the day.
- Willingness to learn new techniques, follow academy protocols, and work collaboratively in a diverse team environment.
- Basic proficiency in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
