Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Qualified Solar Engineer at Neura Energy Cyprus in Limassol. As a Solar Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and oversight of rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. You will work closely with the back office, installation team, and clients to ensure each system is efficiently designed, code-compliant, and optimally performing.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in similar role
  • Bachelors in electrical engineering or similar (candidates without this requirement may be considered if experience is sufficient)
  • Basic knowledge of Greek and at least one of either English or Russian
  • Right to work in Cyprus

Software Proficiency:

  • Experience using solar design software (PVsyst preferred)
  • Familiarity with local Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for site analysis and layout optimization.

Electrical Systems:

  • Strong understanding of electrical circuits, inverters, and grid-tied systems specific to Cyprus's grid requirements.
  • Knowledge of photovoltaic module types, performance characteristics, and suitability for Cyprus’s climate.
