Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical individual to join our Global Payments Services team as an Associate.

In this role, you will work closely with partner teams in Malaysia, Singapore, Ireland and Canada to deliver a seamless payments processing service to our clients. You will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our Global Payments function by executing payments within an environment characterized by continuous evolution and advancements in high-tech platforms. This entails engaging in extensive communication with multiple teams, both locally and globally, to address queries and process payment requests effectively.

Key responsibilities:

  • Payment Processing
  • Accurately track and process all payments as required;
  • Liaise with clients, investment managers, vendors, fund service providers and internal departments as part of completion of daily payment activities;
  • Ensure all deliverables and client queries are met as stipulated in the SLA’s;
  • Ensure all processes are performed in accordance with operational procedures and controls and all relevant checklists are completed;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to contribute to product development initiatives to optimise payment processing and client experience
  • Participate in system upgrades, BCP planning & testing;
  • Assist with other ad-hoc tasks (e.g. audit requests) as required.

Qualifications

  • An understanding of global payment processes, and familiarity with payment systems and online banking platforms is required.
  • Knowledge of Swift Payment processing, including payment formatting and field definitions a distinct advantage.
  • Higher education in s numeric field would be highly advantageous
  • Strong computer skills with strengths in Microsoft Office products. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is particularly an asset.
